1. Introduction

Welcome to Majen ("the App"), a product of Majen Technologies ("Majen," "we," "us," or "our"). Majen is a fashion technology platform that connects African fashion service providers ("Designers") with shoppers ("Clients") seeking custom and ready-to-wear garments. We are currently operating in Nigeria and the United States.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use the Majen mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "Services"). It applies to all users of the App, including both Designers and Clients.

By creating an account or using the Majen App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Minimum Age: The Majen App is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will promptly delete that information and terminate their account.

2. Who This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy applies to two types of users:

Clients: Individuals who download and use the Majen App to browse, purchase, or place custom and ready to wear orders for garments from Designers.

Designers: Fashion service providers which includes those offering custom garment creation and ready-to-wear items who register on the Majen App to list and sell their products and services.

Both Clients and Designers are referred to collectively as "users," "you," or "your" in this policy, except where we distinguish between the two.

Regarding stored payment details: If you choose to save your payment details for future purchases, this information is stored securely by our payment processor, Flutterwave, and not on Majen's servers. We store only a tokenized reference that allows Flutterwave to process future payments on your behalf. You may remove stored payment details at any time through your account settings.

When you use the in-app chat feature:

Please note that in-app messages are used solely to facilitate communication between Clients and Designers regarding orders and services. We may review chat content where necessary to investigate disputes, enforce our Terms of Service, or comply with legal obligations. You should not share sensitive personal or financial information (such as card numbers or passwords) through the chat feature.

We do not collect or store your raw payment card details on our servers. All payment processing is handled by Flutterwave, our third-party payment processor. When you make a payment, your card information is submitted directly to Flutterwave and is governed by Flutterwave's Privacy Policy. If you choose to save your payment details for future use, Flutterwave stores your card data and provides Majen with a secure token only, which means we never have access to your raw card numbers. We receive only a transaction confirmation and limited non-sensitive details such as the last four digits of your card and the card type. You may remove stored payment details at any time through your account settings.

When a Client places an order with a Designer, we share the information necessary to fulfill that order, such as the Client's name and order specifications with the relevant Designer. Designers' public profile information, portfolio photos, and service listings are visible to all Clients on the App.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You may access, update, or correct your account information at any time through your profile settings in the App.

You can withdraw consent for location data collection at any time by adjusting your device settings. Note that disabling location access may limit certain features of the App.

You may opt out of promotional emails or push notifications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by adjusting your notification settings. You will still receive transactional communications related to your account and orders.

If you connect your account via Google, Apple, or Facebook, you can manage the permissions granted to Majen through the settings of those respective platforms.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Majen operates in both Nigeria and the United States, and your information may be stored and processed in either or both countries. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, by sending you an in-app notification or email. Your continued use of the App after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
